OFFICE OF THE CHAIR · PRESS CONFERENCE · SEASON 0
THE COMMITTEE TAKES QUESTIONS.
Plain answers. No forward guidance.
IS THE GAME LIVE?
No. Season 0 charters are open now: any community can register a bank for free on the home page. Play starts when the date is announced here and on @thefedgame. Play starts: [DATE].
DO I NEED $FED TO PLAY?
No. Chartering a bank and playing are free: no token needed.
WHAT IS THE STIMULUS?
$FED is paired with USDC on Pump.fun in Holder Rewards mode. Pump.fun pays holders a share of trading fees, in USDC, several times an hour, to wallets holding more than USD 20 of $FED, split by Pump.fun's rules. When trading stops, so does the stimulus. It's transitory.
WHO PAYS IT?
Pump.fun's Holder Rewards distribution wallet, from trading fees. Not the team and not the chair: neither can touch it.
IS IT A SURE THING?
No. It depends on trading volume and can stop at any time.
HOW MUCH WILL I GET?
It depends on trading volume and on your share of the wallets above the minimum. Most holders will see small amounts.
WHAT'S THE CA?
Only the one published on this site and on @thefedgame. It drops at launch; until then, any address you see is counterfeit policy.
IS THIS THE FEDERAL RESERVE?
No. THE FED is a fictional game and an independent community project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Federal Reserve System, any central bank or any government.
CAN GAME MONEY BE WITHDRAWN?
Never. Game money has no cash value. The chair controls the game only, never real money.
WHAT ARE THE PRIZES?
The Season 0 prize pool is funded in USDC and published with the rules before play starts. Entry is free. Amount: [AMOUNT TBA].
DOES WASH TRADING PAY?
No. Every trade pays fees, and holder rewards return only a share of them. Trading with yourself costs more than it returns.
IS THIS A PONZI?
No. There are no deposits and no promised returns. Holder rewards are Pump.fun's fee-sharing feature, paid only from trading fees, and they stop when trading stops.
